Good Morning & Happy New Year! I am looking forward to seeing you all this week, remember EVERYONE returns to school Tuesday, January 5th. This weeks focus is to review our expectations, our classroom resources, Geography, and Maps as well as Pre-Test on our unit: South & East Asia.
Today, Monday January 4th you are reading this week's at a glance post and answering the accompanying question on Google Classroom. This is due today at 11:59 pm.
Tuesday, January 5th we have our new seating chart, will complete a Peer Interview activity to get to know our table partner, complete an Expectations, Google Classroom & Blog Scavenger Hunt, and finish the day by creating a snowflake to decorate our classroom with for the winter. If you are absent, I will be sending you a digital version of the Peer Interview that you may answer the questions yourself so that I may share it with your table partner as well as a digital copy of the Expectations, Google Classroom & Blog Scavenger Hunt. Both of these should be assigned to you in Google Classroom by the afternoon. If you would like to create a snowflake, let me know when you return to school and I will get you a sheet of paper for this optional activity.
Wednesday, January 6th we will complete Part 1 of our Interactive Lesson Geography & Map Review. If you are absent, I will be assigning a link to this lesson through Google Classroom. This has our reading and some questions for you to complete embedded within the Google Slides that you will need to do.
Thursday, January 7th we will complete Part 2 of our Interactive Lesson Geography & Map Review. If you are absent, I will be assigning a link to this lesson through Google Classroom. This has our reading and some questions for you to complete embedded within the Google Slides that you will need to do. In addition, we will be starting our South & East Asia Map. If you are absent, I will assign the digital version of this assignment through Google Classroom by the afternoon.
Friday, January 8th we will complete our PreTest on South & East Asia and work on our South & East Asia Map. If you are absent, I will exempt you from the pre-test and you may work on the map activity (paper or digital depending on which one you have).
Monday, January 11th Mondays are online school days and I have planned a weekly Ketchup, Mustard & Pickles for you to complete. First Ketchup, you are to complete any tasks that you did not finish during Week One (catch-up). Second Mustard, you are to read Week 2 blogpost (must-do). There will not be a Pickles for this week - stay tuned as pick one learning activities will come available in the next few weeks.
Please let me know if you have any questions in the comments below, you will need to be signed into your school google account to do so. Then head back over to Google Classroom for you to answer this Week at a Glance Question.
